6 weeks

How can I be 6 weeks old?! Wow. My mom tells me I'm such a good girl. I eat good and sleep good too. I'm awake more now and started to smile. I even make a few coos now and then which really gets my parents excited. I like watching my crazy brother do his "tricks", it keeps my eyes going and me entertained, even though my mom yells at him. Tomorrow I have my first real big outing. It's my cousin Lleyton's christening. So I get to see more family. Since I'm the only girl and the newest I'm sure everyone will want to hold me. Then on Monday I will get to meet my Uncle Joel. He's flying in to go to a Giants game and then I'll get to see him again at Christmas. Then it's Thanksgiving on Thurs. What a busy week. I'm tired already.

Dressed up

Mom put me in a little skirt to go to a birthday party last weekend. She tried putting a headband on me but I kept rubbing my head and making it come off.

Butterfly Garden/Yankee Candle

Monday morning we went on an adventure with my brother, mom, and grandma to the Butterfly Garden and Yankee Candle in MA. I slept pretty much the whole time but I'm told butterflies landed on me and lots on grandma. Mattingly didn't like them flying so close to him so he kept saying "let's get outta here". Then we went to Yankee Candle. It was a huge place. Santa and Mrs.Clause were even there. I'll have to go back when I'm older so I can enjoy it a little more.

ER visit

Last Thursday I went to the ER. Only 2 1/2 weeks old at back to the hospital already. Mom was worried about my breathing and then dad said something so my mom was worried even more. I was breathing fast and making lots of noises, stopping breathing for a second and choking and gasping when eating. All of which can be pretty normal for a newborn as my mom knew and she knew it wasn't too bad b/c I didn't have the horrible symptoms my brother had when he had croup but she was still scared b/c I am so little. Dad had to stay home with Mattingly since it was 10pm so mom called grandma crying and grandpa met us at the hospital. Everything was fine. And I even gained another pound since I was at the doctor the week before. I weighed just over 9lbs!

I've lived through to 2 weather records now! One was record heat when I was born and now record snow for October. We got 6 inches of snow at my house Sat to Sun.
