Cousin Lleyton's 1st bday

Lleyton turned a year on July 13th! I only saw him a handful of times during his first year. Hopefully we will get to see him more this year! His party was at the beach and boy was it a hot day! It was a Sesame birthday so Steve and Rachel decorated with balloons and hanging things, the cake of course was Sesame Street too. Rachel put a picture up from each month of his first year which was really cute. And they had a pool outside for the 3 little ones; although some adults did think about going in. On another note I brought up the little walker for Myla. She uses it here and there. She's very slow but she does it. I have no doubt she will be walking at a year.

Roger Williams Zoo

in Providence is a great zoo! Laura and I went with the kids yesterday. There were so many more fun animals to see and they had an awesome play area for the kids! There was a tree house which looked cool but didn't have much to do inside. They had tents and blocks, paint with water on chalkboards, water that shot out of the ground, fishing area and more. It was super cute and great for a hot day! We enjoyed an informative session on anteaters but sadly missed the monkey b/c it was at the vet. Definitely worth the ride out there.

9 months!

I am now 9 months!! I am a speedy crawler now and pull myself up on just about anything I can. I have even stood alone for a few seconds a few times. I'd say I'll be walking by my first birthday. My mom is unsure but she thinks I've said "all done" a few times. I'm sure it will become more clear this month. I am not really eating baby food anymore. I want the good stuff! I drink water from my sippy all the time and will drink from the cup as I have for a while now too. I want anything my mom is eating. Even if I have already eaten. I'm still pretty attached to her. Although the past week I have let some other people hold me and was okay. Mom hopes I'll be a good girl for her parents when they watch me for Laura's wedding. Who by the way took the bottom half of pictures for my 9 month pictures. She does a great job! Can't wait for my 1 year photo shoot. I am still a good sleeper too. :) And no matter what my brother still makes me laugh the most!! Today we applied for passports so we can take a family cruise. Yay more beach and pool time!!

4th of July

The top few pictures are a day at the beach with Laura on July 3rd. It was HOT!! The next day we returned to the beach for the bike parade for kids. Everyone decorates their bikes and rides down the street. Then they are able to pick a prize. It was super humid and hot that day too but at least on the beach there was a breeze. Myla received a lobster for her prize. I ordered a 4th of July headband for Myla that luckily came in the mail the day before. I'm in love with it. And it was only $5.50 :)

1st Yankee game

Daddy surprised us last week with tickets to a Yankee game. We spent lots of time in traffic but it was a great day for a game. I even slept over an hour despite all the cheering all around me. I was a good girl as always. Well the first part of the train ride home and talked loudly almost the whole way but at least I wasn't crying!
